P2 students is playing an outdoor game they want to play with friends during the orientation day. On orientation day 1, they have discussed what games to play and set the rules for the game. The activities are not only about having fun with friends, but also about getting used to collaborate and following the rules.
The activity began with warming up by walking from school to Manahan. The students also practiced to cross the street and pay more attention to the surrounding and instruction. It was part of recalling what they’ve learnt in Semester 1. More than that, they also had fun by playing game they have decided on the previous meeting.
Through walking, crossing the street and playing games, the students were reminded and asked to follow the rules that have been set and listen to the instructions. After having the activities, students can remind each other to be careful and pay attention to surrounding and instructions in everywhere.
Playing an outdoor game with friends in a group is directed to improve students’ behaviour and awareness in the future. It is expected to help students follow the rules and stay safe everywhere. At the end, students will be able to make sense on what they learn at school, put it into practice and even extend it to every day life practices.
