Nursery students took part in an exciting science activity about mixing colours using coloured water. They explored how different colours can be combined to create new colours by mixing primary colours such as red, yellow, and blue. The students were excited to observe the changes that happened during the experiment and discovered that red and yellow make orange, yellow and blue make green, and red and blue make purple. The hands-on activity encouraged the students to observe, explore, and enjoy the learning process in a fun and engaging way.
Through this activity, the students developed their curiosity, creativity, and early scientific thinking skills. The experiment also helped improve their focus, fine motor skills, colour recognition, and confidence while trying new ideas. In addition, the students learned to be patient and wait for their turn during the experiment, helping them build good social skills and positive classroom behaviour.
