This week in our science lesson, Nursery students had an exciting hands-on experience learning about parts of a tree , namely roots, trunk, leaves, and flowers.
To make learning more meaningful, students went outdoors to observe the trees in our playground. They carefully looked at each part, touched the trunk and root, felt the texture of the leaves, and observe the beautiful flowers. Through this direct exploration, they not only learned to name each part but also discovered how each one feels and looks.
This activity helped activate the students’ senses and encouraged curiosity about the natural world. It was a meaningful opportunity for students to connect with nature, develop observation skills, and improve their cognitive skill. ***
