On the fifth day of our Launch Learning Project: “My Favourite Soup,” Nursery students proudly presented their completed soup creations in front of their classmates. Each student took turns explaining the ingredients they chose, the colours they used, and how they created the different vegetables for their artwork. After sharing with their peers, the students also had the opportunity to present their work to the S-Team members, confidently describing their creative process and personal choices.
This presentation activity provided valuable benefits for the students, helping them develop confidence in speaking, strengthening their communication skills, and encouraging them to express their thoughts clearly. It also supported their social-emotional growth as they learned to listen to others, appreciate different ideas, and feel proud of their own achievements. Through this experience, the students practised early public-speaking skills in a positive and supportive environment.
