EY2 students were enthusiastic about making the octopus as it is one of the sea creatures they learned about in the “Ocean Treasures” theme. They also learned some fun facts about the octopus, such as it has no bones, can camouflage with its surroundings, etc. They were challenged to make their octopus by cutting some shapes and decorating it to become an octopus.
This activity upgraded students’ fine motoric skills in cutting and making the arts. They also learned to develop independence, creativity, and carefulness in decorating the octopus with their idea. ***
