Walking around the neighborhood gives children the opportunity to become aware of their environment. EY2 students were very enthusiastic when invited to do the “JALAN SEHAT” activity by going around the school environment.
They also observed buildings and places around the school. Apart from having the opportunity to exercise by walking, children also develop their adaptability and discipline in following the rules by walking on the left side in an orderly manner throughout the activity. They also put into practice the knowledge they had gained about how to stay safe on the road which they had acquired some time ago. ***
