Smiles, laughter, and excitement filled the classroom as EY2 students began their learning journey through the theme “Celebration Around Me and the World.” Through a fun birthday party hunt, the students explored different celebration items such as balloons, cakes, candles, and party hats while building their confidence to use simple English phrases with their friends and teachers.
As the students searched around the classroom, they showed curiosity and enthusiasm in discovering hidden objects. The students were encouraged to express their ideas by sharing what they found, helping them strengthen their vocabulary and communication skills in a joyful and meaningful way.
The celebration continued with a cheerful birthday role play where the students prepared the party together by setting up the decorations, cakes, balloons, and party hats. The students also sang together, shared birthday greetings, and pretended to give gifts to their friends, encouraging confidence, imagination, and positive social interaction throughout the activity.
It was a wonderful start to our new theme as the students learned through play, communication, exploration, and joyful connections with their classmates.
