Home Link Learning plays an important role in meaningful learning for students. EY2 applied this principle by asking them to collaborate with their parents at home to create a bridge artwork. The aim is for EY2 students to continue learning at home in a fun way. As they had observed how builders build houses, learnt the tools and their functions, worked together with their friends to build houses with lego at school, they were challenged to do similar actions with their parents at home. EY2 students excitedly brought their bridges with their parents and enthusiastically shared the sequence of the building process. They were also able to reflect on which processes were difficult and easy and were able to conclude that working with their parents was a very enjoyable experience. Teachers really appreciate the efforts made by parents and hope that the bonding between students and parents can be stronger through meaningful home link learning. ***
