Early Year 2 – English: A Global Feast

One of the foundations of IEYC is Globally Competent Learners. In the Going Places theme, EY2 students were invited to get to know the culture of their own and other countries in a simple way through fruits and typical foods of certain countries.

The activity aimed to develop a sense of difference and lay the foundations for an international mindset by gradually learning about different people and places. After being introduced to different fruits and foods from different countries, the EY2 students learned to present the food they had brought from home as a snack or lunch by stating the name of the food, the taste and the country it came from. ***
