EY1 students launched their new theme, Dinosaur World: Move, Dig, and Play, through an engaging and imaginative entry point. The session began with the exciting discovery of a small dinosaur egg that slowly cracked open, capturing the students’ curiosity. The experience continued as a life-sized “dinosaur”, brought to life by a teacher in costume, introduced itself, named its body parts, and invited the students to move and dance together. Many students confidently shared their prior knowledge about different dinosaurs and their unique features, demonstrating early understanding and enthusiasm. The session concluded with imaginative play using dinosaur toys, where students created their own sounds and scenarios — a meaningful reminder that when curiosity is sparked, learning naturally begins to grow.
