Our Early Years 1 Animal Explorers set off on a chilly Arctic adventure to uncover the secrets of polar bears and the magical Aurora Borealis!
Inspired by the glowing Northern Lights, the young artists put a unique stencil-painting technique to the test. After placing polar bear outlines onto paper, students splashed custom color combinations across their canvases before lifting the stencils to reveal striking white bear silhouettes! The creative process wrapped up with toddlers adding glitter, sequins, sharp claws, and expressive facial details to bring their Arctic friends to life.
By combining wildlife discovery with open-ended art techniques, EY1 built creative expression, fine motor control, confidence, and mutual appreciation as they proudly celebrated each other’s masterpieces!
