Day two of the Live-In program in Boro brought an immersive deep dive into local culture and community living!
Students kicked off their day early alongside their host families, trading standard school routines for authentic domestic life. Throughout the morning, they helped prepare family meals, shadowed host parents during daily work, and lent a hand with household chores. The afternoon featured a delicious hands-on workshop where students learned the art of crafting traditional local food from scratch, before returning home to cook dinner and reflect on their journey.
By actively participating in daily family tasks and traditional culinary workshops, students strengthened their communication, learned the value of helpfulness, and built a deep appreciation for community life!
