Secondary 2 students conducted a presentation about the human musculoskeletal system. They presented the content of the function of the skeletal, joints, muscles, and the diseases/disorders in that system. They presented the topic in groups.
In the presentation, students had to mention 30 names of human bone by using the torso. They were given time for 8 minutes to explain the content and 2 minutes for Q&A. During the session, students were actively engaged in answering the questions given.
Presentation is one of the important methods to confirm students’ understanding as well as to develop their communication skills. By doing this, it is expected that students can communicate their ideas in a structured and reasonable way. Besides, the presentation can also boost their confidence to speak in front of many people.
After learning about the human musculoskeletal system, students can improve their awareness to take care of their skeletal system health by doing physical exercises. Consuming healthy food is also a crucial way to raise the strength of their musculoskeletal system.
