On this day, Tuesday, August 1st, 2023, Secondary 1 students learned about a 2D sketch from a real object with the theme ‘Secondary Building’. At the beginning of the lesson, they were asked to recall about some Secondary views/places they like.
Then, they do an exploration around the Secondary building and choose one of their favorite places. They were asked to sketch the place on the spot. Before it, they learned about steps to draw from a real object, such as:
1. Object observation ( Analyze the angle and appearance of the object).
2. Sketch.
3. Object forming (It’s like a fixed drawing from a sketch).
4. Giving details on the object.
5. Finishing (Colouring).
Most of the students have finished with their sketches and they will continue with the coloring part at the next meeting. They were so enthusiastic to follow the activities. ***
