Secondary 1 – Physics: Explores Sound Waves with Guitars and Ukuleles

Secondary 1 students took their physics lesson on sound waves to the next level with hands-on demonstrations using guitar and ukulele. The students creatively explored the principles of sound production and pitch variation through these exciting activities:

After completing the demonstrations, each group worked collaboratively to compile their findings and observations in a detailed experiment report. This activity not only deepened their understanding of sound waves but also fostered teamwork and critical analysis.

These young physicists are proving that learning science is both fun and impactful when paired with real-world applications. Physics lesson puts that as a concern when building deeper understanding and make meaning upon the material discussed.
