Secondary 1 – English: Making a Presentation

Secondary 1 students recently learned the important skills needed to create effective presentations. During the lesson, they discovered that making a good presentation requires careful planning and thoughtful preparation.

The students first learned that understanding the audience is an essential step before planning a presentation. They were encouraged to consider what kind of information would be meaningful and interesting for their audience. Based on this understanding, they selected and organized relevant information to ensure that their presentations would be both informative and engaging.

After completing the planning stage, the students presented their work in front of the class. For this activity, they explored cultures from around the world by choosing a country or a specific place known for its unique traditions and cultural practices.

Through their presentations, the students shared interesting facts about different cultures and traditions. The activity allowed them to practice their public speaking skills while also learning more about the diversity of cultures around the world.
