Primary 5 – Science: Flower Structure
Flowering plants do not produce flowers to only make the place beautiful. They produce flowers for reproduction. P5 students learned that flowers have a structure that is needed to do their functions. Students brought three kinds of flowers and dissected them. They identified the male and female organs as well as observed each part of the flower’s reproductive organs. The students worked in a group so that they got a chance to identify more flowers from their friends. They recognized that flowers come in different shapes and sizes but have the same function, which is reproduction. ***
