Primary 4 English : Going Deep into Fantasy Text

In English, P4 students are learning about Fantasy Texts. To start with, they were assigned to think of their own imaginary character or creature. They had to draw and color the imaginary character they had created. Then, they needed to describe the feeling. Their description includes that character’s name, where it lives, what it eats, and its superpower. They really enjoyed creating their imaginary character. Some drew monsters, some drew imaginary plants with super abilities, and many drew superhumans with superpowers, such as seeing ghosts and predicting the future. It was a fun activity to begin the discussion about a fantasy text. Further, they will learn the features of a fantasy text and create their own fantasy text. ***
