Primary 3 – Science: Force meter
In Science, P3 students learned that a force meter is one way to measure a force’s size. They also learned that forces are measured in the unit Newton (N). Within the activity, P3 students measured the forces needed to make things start moving. They attached a force meter to objects like books, bags, pencil cases, doors, and chairs. Then, they pulled the objects using the force meter. After that, they took the reading on the force meter when the objects started to move. They recorded their readings in the table in the Activity book. Students were curious and eager to measure the force of their belongings. They were excited since it was their first time using a force meter. ***
