Being a P4 Science teacher is fantastic. Students may come with their How and Why questions when entering Science class. It might happen since my students have concrete experiences with the topic discussed. Answering their curiosity and instilling students with a strong desire to understand Science material are challenging. Scaffolding student’s understanding of science through visual activities, cooperative learning groups, and organized experiments is my way to build on students’ knowledge. Seeing them work in every Science project is such a gift for me.

Assigned as a classroom teacher with over 9-year experience in managing a classroom of 20-25 students, I commit to creating a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating and encouraging to P4 students. Those experiences build a foundation to foster their growth and positive attitude. Focus Independent School accommodates me to strengthen my practical teaching skills, basic learning concepts, and valuable knowledge of the national and international curriculum through school programs and ongoing learning activities.


I had experienced teaching primary 4, 5, and 6 using KTSP (Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pembelajaran), Singapore Science Curriculum with My Pals are Here and of IPC (International Primary Curriculum) for this past nine years. In the year 2019-2020, applied Science Cambridge Curriculum triggers my curiosity to search and learn more to support primary four students to get used to it.

FIS had equipped me with online Cambridge English Teacher Professional Development Courses. This what I most like about FIS. Not only providing the best education services to FIS students, but FIS also facilitates teachers to improve their competences. FIS teachers are always learning, so do FIS students. I say that FIS is the most convenient and suitable school to develop the habit of learning. I am proud to be part of FIS.
